Participate in a Usability Study!
As part of our goal for improving your experience with H&R Block's software products (including the TaxCut product family), we run usability studies where we watch people just like you explore and use our products. These studies help us learn which features work and which don't - knowledge which is then used to improve future versions of our products.
Most participants are asked to come to our offices to complete their taxes using our software. Each test normally takes less than 2 hours, and all study participants are compensated for their time. While most studies take place in either Boston or Kansas City, we occasionally do studies in other areas of the country as well.
If you are eligible* to participate and you are a resident of the continental U.S., please click the button below and fill out the participation form. If you fit our criteria for any of our upcoming studies, we'll contact you by phone or e-mail. The information you provide in connection with this usability study will only be used by us to improve our products and services. We will not rent or sell this information, or disclose it to any third parties for any marketing or other purposes unrelated to usability studies. *You are ineligible if you:
- Are an employee of H&R Block or are related to an employee of H&R Block
- Prepare tax returns for a fee
- Are an employee of a company that develops tax-related software products and services (ex: Intuit, ATX)
- Work as a software or Web developer, programmer, engineer, or quality assurance engineer.
- Work as graphic designer for print, software or the Web.
