The Federal update includes:

• Changes we've made to the TaxCut program, including the ability to load data from your 2001 TurboTax return into your 2002 TaxCut return.
• Changes to the draft versions of forms that were not finalized by the IRS at the time we originally shipped TaxCut.

Installing the Program Update

1. Click on the "Download update now" link listed below, and save the file to your hard disk. Remember its location.
   Note: Do not save the file in the same folder that contains your TaxCut 2002 program files.
2. Close TaxCut, if it's open.
3. Click on the TaxCut 2002 Update C icon. The update program will now update your version of TaxCut 2002.
4. Click the Quit button when the update is finished to close the update program.
5. The old TaxCut 2002 program files will be overwritten. Your returns will not be deleted.

Forms 8582, 8859 and 8880 Printing with Incomplete Text
Users Affected: You are affected by this problem if you meet all of the following conditions:

• You’re filing a paper federal return; and
• You updated your federal program before March 5; and
• Your return includes any of the following federal forms:
  Form 8582, Passive Activity Loss Limitations; or
  Form 8859, District of Columbia First-Time Homebuyer Credit; or
  Form 8880, Credit for Qualified Retirement Savings Contributions

Problem: Federal Forms 8582, 8859 and 8880 print incompletely and cannot be filed.

Solution: Click the "Download special update now" link below. This special update only fixes this problem. If you are not affected by this problem, click the "Download update now" link above.

1. Click on the "Download special update now" link listed below, and save the file to your hard disk. Remember its location.

2. Close TaxCut, if it's open.
3. Click on the TaxCut 2002 Update D icon. The update program will now update your version of TaxCut 2002.
4. Click the Quit button when the update is finished to close the update program.
5. The old TaxCut 2002 program files will be overwritten. Your returns will not be deleted.
