2001 Windows State Update Instructions

You must have the latest version of the TaxCut Federal 2001 product before you update your state. The most current version is 6001. To check your version open TaxCut, pull down the Help menu and select About TaxCut.

If you are not running the most current version, you must Update your TaxCut Federal 2001 product before you can update your State. Click Here to Update TaxCut Federal 2001.

Follow the instructions below to download and install the latest State program update:

2. Most browsers will prompt you to save the file to disk. Choose a place to save the file, and remember its name and location. We recommend that you do not save it in the TaxCut01 folder.
3. Close TaxCut if it's open.
4. Open Windows Explorer, locate the file that you saved in Step 2, and double-click it.
5. To complete the installation, follow the instructions displayed by the update program.
