Our Standard Guarantee is included in every tax return. If penalties or interest charges are owed due to H&R Block's error, H&R Block will pay those penalties and interest on federal, state and local returns. If the IRS audits you, an H&R Block representative will assist in answering questions regarding the preparation of your return (not as a legal representative).

H&R Block Office Guarantee: Your satisfaction means a lot to H&R Block. Before your return is filed, we make sure you're completely satisfied with your experience. If you're not satisfied, you are not obligated to accept and pay for the preparation of your tax return. However, you'll still need to file your return elsewhere by April 15 and H&R Block is under no obligation to give you the return for your use or filing. If you decide to let H&R Block file your tax return, you can be confident knowing that we stand behind our work. If H&R Block makes an error in the preparation of your tax return, H&R Block will pay penalties and interest caused by such error.

1. I've already filed my tax return - can I still get Second Look^®?
   Yes. Second Look reviews apply to both filed and unfiled federal, state and local returns. If a change is recommended, we can help you file amendments. If your return is unfiled, we can help you file it. (Standard tax preparation fees will apply.)
   
   
2. Do I have to pay the Second Look^® fee on top of the standard prep fees?
   No. If you decide to allow H&R Block to amend or file your return after doing a Second Look, the Second Look fee is waived and only standard fees apply.
