ISSUE:
Runtime Error 3078 when installing the Business software
RESOLUTION:
While installing 2008 TaxCut Business, you might receive this error: Run-time error '3078': The Microsoft Jet database engine cannot find the input table or query "tblInstructions". Make sure it exists and that it's name is spelled correctly.
Before taking any steps to resolve the issue, back up any returns you've prepared using the program.

For Windows XP Users:
- Click the Start Menu.
- Click Settings and Control Panel or just Control Panel.
- Click Add or Remove Programs.
- Locate and click one time on TaxCut Business 2008.
- Click the Remove Option.
- Type DELETE in the window prompt.
- Click the Uninstall button
- Click OK on the TaxCut Business Successfully uninstalled window.
- Open Windows Explorer.
- Navigate to the C:\Program Files\TaxCut Business 2008 folder.
- Right click the TaxCut Business 2008 folder and choose the delete option from the menu.
- In Windows Explorer navigate to C:\Documents and Settings\<User Name>\Local Settings\Temp\TCBFED.
If you don't see the Local Settings folder, it might be because you have Show Hidden Files and Folders disabled.
- Click the Tools Menu and select Folder Options.
- In the pop-up window, make sure the radio button next to Show Hidden Files and Folders is selected.
- Click OK.
- You should now now be able to see the Local Settings Folder.
- Delete the contents of the TCBFED folder (not the folder itself).
- Run the TaxCut Business 2008 installer again.
For Windows Vista Users:
- Click the Start Menu.
- Click Settings and Control Panel or just Control Panel.
- Click Programs and Features.
- Locate and click one time on TaxCut Business 2008 (Remove Only).
- Click the Uninstall Option.
- Click OK on the TaxCut Business Successfully uninstalled window.
- Open Windows Explorer.
- Navigate to the C:\Program Files\TaxCut Business 2008 folder.
- Right click the TaxCut Business 2008 folder and choose the delete option from the menu.
- In Windows Explorer navigate to Computer\Local Disk (C)\Users\<User Name>\AppData\Local\Temp\TCBFed.

- Click the Tools Menu and select Folder Options.
- In the pop-up window, make sure the radio button next to Show Hidden Files and Folders is selected.
- Click OK.
- You should now now be able to see the Local Settings Folder.
- Delete the TCBFED folder.
- Reboot the computer.
- Run the TaxCut Business 2008 installer again.
