RESOLUTION:
After you've completed your document, you can also:
Edit: The edit feature allows you to change a document you've already saved. You can either return to the Interview questions and change your original answers, or you can edit your document with the program's built-in word processor.
If you choose to edit your document, it will be saved as an Editor file and cannot be changed through the Interview process. We cannot guarantee documents edited in the word processor, as you may make changes that affect their validity.
Print: The print feature allows you to send a completed document to your default printer.
Export: The export features allows you to save a completed document to your computer in the following formats:
- You can save it as a word processor file. The file will be saved in .rtf format, allowing you to open the document in most word processor applications (Microsoft Word, Word Perfect, etc.).
- You can also export your document, and save it as an Adobe PDF file.
Send: The send feature allows you to attach a completed document as an Adobe PDF file to an e-mail. Most Web-based e-mail programs aren't supported by this feature.
E-sign: The e-sign feature is an online service (additional fees apply and and Internet connection is required). It allows you to send a qualified document (a document that doesn't require a notary or witness signature) to another party mentioned in the document for that person's approval and signature.
The recipient will receive an e-mail with a link to the e-signable document, where he or she can enter his or her name and initials and e-sign the document. The sender will then receive notification by e-mail and can sign as well. After the document has been signed by all parties, a PDF copy of the fully signed document will be e-mailed to everyone, as well as saved in the sender's online services account. Online services are provided by RocketLawyer.com (additional fees apply).
Store: The store feature is an online service (additional fees apply and an Internet connection is required) that allows you to save a completed document to a secure online server and access it through your online account at any time from any computer that has an Internet connection. Once stored, you can also share your document with others by giving them permission to view it online using a special code. Online services are provided by RocketLawyer.com (additional fees apply).
Final Checklist: The Final Checklist is provided at the end of every document and is crucial to review in order for the document to be completed. The Make It Legal section of the Final Checklist lists all the steps required to make the document legally binding, such as witness and notary requirements. The Final Checklist also provides you with useful information about whom you should provide copies of the document, when to consult an attorney, reasons to update your document, and other important information.
